Air cushion technology
Air lifting cushions for industrial use are often chosen for these specific features in the most transverse sectors, i.e. even by companies that do not have production facilities and heavy industrial machinery or equipment to lift. The applications of lifting cushions are therefore diverse. When choosing a high-pressure lifting cushion, it is a good idea to also have an inflation tube of the appropriate length and a single or double inflation controller.
Nuova Tecnica's air cushions are strong because they are reinforced with Kevlar®, a chemical component consisting of repeated links between chains. It is precisely this interweaving of bonds that enables tensile strength and thus guarantees maximum safety.
The choice of this material is combined with the non-slip surface and the possibility of choosing between square or rectangular high-pressure air cushions according to requirements.
How high-pressure lifting cushions work
After choosing the industrial air cushion that best suits your needs, simply place it under what you see being lifted or between the slots to be filled with the cushion. Once the support is properly positioned, the cushion is inflated with the help of cylinders and tubes.
If no inflation hose and controller are available, pneumatic cushions can be brought up to level using compressors and hand or foot pumps.
The pressure of the lifting cushions is up to 8 bar, the structure is thin but at the same time strong and stable, so that the Kevlar® composition prevents slipping.

Up to 3 lifting cushions can be stacked on top of each other, depending on the different types. The different models have a square shape from 15x15 cm and a load capacity of 1 tonne, such as lifting cushion NL1, up to pneumatic lifting cushion NL 64, which can carry up to 64 tonnes.
In addition to the standard high-pressure lifting cushions, we also offer the Flat pneumatic lifting cushions, which have a lift height of 170 mm and maintain the bearing surface when inflated.
